The US basketball team defeated Serbia 105:79 (28:28, 31:17, 24:13, 22:21) in Abu Dhabi and continued their preparations for the Paris Olympics.
The first quarter was a point-to-point battle, but the U.S. team warmed up in the second quarter, making a 16-2 break in a 40-40 tie and entering halftime with a 14-point advantage.
At the end of the third quarter, the score difference widened to 25 points. Serbia was behind by 31 points in the last quarter, but by the time the final whistle sounded, the gap between the two teams had reached 26 points.
Stephen Curry was the driving force behind the U.S. team’s success, hitting six of his nine long-range shots and scoring 24 points. Bam Adebayo had 17 points and eight rebounds, while Anthony Edwards and LeBron James scored 16 and 11 points, respectively.
Serbia star Nikola Jokic finished with a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Jokic had an unusually poor shooting performance on the day, making only 6 of 19 shots (0/4 from three). Aleksa Avramovic contributed 14 points and Philip Petrushev added 11 points.

The United States has won all three Test matches it has played so far. Canada was defeated last week. 86:72 They beat Australia on Monday. 98:92Serbia beat France 79-67 last week but lost 73-84 to Australia on Tuesday.
The United States and Serbia are in the same group at the Paris Olympics. The men’s basketball championship will start in Paris on July 27.
