The film will be directed by Jon Chu. He directed the fantasy musical “Wicked: The Witch” with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, which will be released in November this year. It is understood that Spears will directly participate in the production of the film. But it is not clear what role she will play.
Spears’ memoir, The Woman In Me, is set to be released in October 2023. The book tells the story of the singer’s rise to fame, her difficult mental state, her father’s 13-year conservatorship, and Britney’s romance and breakup with Justin Timberlake.
