Macau University Debate Team Winning the championship In the “Star of Hope” National College English Debate Competition held not long ago, our school defeated opponents from universities across the country.
Zhu Shuairong, a student from the School of Business, and Wang Hanyu, a student from the School of Arts and Humanities, emerged victorious after competing against three other teams in the finals held in Beijing.
Earlier, Wang Tech Polytechnic student Ali Omar Kassana Jimenez led UM to the semi-finals with the second highest score and was among the top ten speakers.

The debate, filmed by China Central Television (CCTV), followed a typical parliamentary format, with speakers giving their opinions for and against a motion and being graded on logic, rhetoric and listening skills.
The University of Michigan English School was established in 2003 Debate Team Won the Macau College English Debate Championship for eight consecutive years.
