The Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement that the Russian military launched the attack late Saturday using two S-300 air defense missiles and two Kh-31P anti-radar missiles.

In addition, the Russian Federation launched 29 drones.

“As a result of the air defense battles, 24 attack drones of the “Shahed-131/136″ type were shot down in the Kherson, Odessa, Nikolaev, Poltava, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kiev, Vinnytsia and Zhitomir regions,” the Ukrainian Air Force specified.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that seven regions of the Russian Federation were attacked by 74 drones last night, and all the drones were “intercepted and destroyed.”

According to reports from the Russian military, the largest attacks took place in Rostov (36 drones), Oryol (17 drones), Belgorod (9 drones) and Kursk regions (8 drones).

Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev said that as a result of a massive drone strike in the region, “many warehouse facilities in the Kamensky and Morozovsky districts were damaged.”

The Russian Federation’s Telegram channel reported that a drone attacked an airport in Morozovsk.
