Ukraine has set up storage facilities in the Kiev-occupied area of western Russia’s Kursk region to store and deliver aid to Russian civilians, Sky News reported.

Ukraine provides aid to Russian civilians in Kursk region
The troops are based in the northern part of Ukraine’s Sumy region, bordering Russia.
Ukraine announced on August 6 that it had taken control of 82 settlements in Kursk after launching a cross-border offensive.
“The citizens abandoned by Russia are mostly elderly people, disabled people and families with children,” Interior Minister Ihor Klimenko said on Telegram. “They need food, water and medicine,” he added.
During a trip to the Sumy region, Kremenko said about 150 food parcels had been delivered to civilians in the region.
Officials in Kiev said they planned to establish an evacuation corridor in the Kursk region and open access for international humanitarian missions.
