Two injured at Trump rally identified

State police on Sunday released the identities of two people who were shot at a Donald Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday and are now in stable condition.

Pennsylvania State Police identified David Dutch, 57, of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and James Copenhaver, 74, of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, in a news release.

State police also confirmed that Kori Komperatore, 50, was the victim killed in the assassination attempt. Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro announced his identity earlier in the day.

The Marine Corps League of Pennsylvania Inc. has named Daher as the commander of its Westmoreland County organization.

MCL Deputy Commander Matt Popovic said on Facebook that Dark had undergone two surgeries after being “shot in the liver and chest.”

“Our thoughts are certainly with these victims and their families today. The Pennsylvania State Police will continue to work tirelessly alongside our federal, state and local partners as this investigation continues,” said State Police Superintendent Col. Christopher Paris.
