On Friday, an incident took place in the Tekić neighborhood of Blagaj, in which a worker at the parking lot was seriously injured. Father and son HA (58) and AT (27) from Tuzla were questioned for their involvement in the brawl, while worker MB (46) from Mostar was seriously injured and is being treated at the “Doctor Safet Mujić” State Hospital in Mostar.

“We did defend ourselves, we fought for our lives”

HA from Tuzla (identity known to the editorial office) contacted the editorial office of Dnevni avaza, who denied that a fight had taken place because they did not want to pay for parking. Ahwaz He said he and his son were with five women when they were attacked by a group of men after a Bajem, who was in charge of parking the car, was the instigator of the attack.

“We were literally defending ourselves, we were fighting for our lives, there were two of us, our daughter was also beaten. My wife was there, five women and two of us. From the beginning, when we parked and paid for parking, went to visit the place a bit and came back, we were subjected to terrible provocations and terrible insults, and in the end we were attacked by 12 of them, I will not compare, but literally, I don’t want to go through the fate of Muriz Memić, it was always a case of self-defense, if I hadn’t defended myself, this could have happened to me and my son would have been killed,” HA said.

He added that he had received threatening messages since the incident, as well as messages from people who had written to him saying they had never received a receipt for the car park.

“It could be a report for the involvement of the financial police. Who did it go to, why not to the treasury, why the constant provocation, why did they go and beat us. At least they did, but they all beat us from behind, my daughter was in the same ward as him, why was she in the normal IV room and not in the shock room, she was in the same room with my daughter to film her. I have concussion, hematoma, fractures, my nose was broken, my son’s lip was stitched, we also have hematoma,” HA said.

Tuzlak noted that he was also a participant in the last war and had undergone three operations.

“They provoked us, spit on us and damaged cars”

“The officers were very kind to both of us. They even explained to us what happened to MB, saying that the minor had no family but he was addicted to drugs and such people had no place in society. “We did it purely in self-defence,” HA added.

“The fight was because they had been provoking us, wanting to fight, and in the end they won. By the way, when they damage your car, when they start spitting at you and saying all kinds of things, unless we are wrong, that’s why the fight was, it was not a fight, it was a lynching, we could almost be lynched there, no one called the police or an ambulance, their people were lying on the floor,” said HA

He said his son, a black belt holder, warned the group not to approach and attack them, but the move had no effect.

“Bazem, the man who collected the parking fees, and his cousin with the same surname, are the main instigators of everything. The police knew that it was illegal parking, no receipts were issued, and everything went into private pockets. The bus charges 20 marks per vehicle, which is a small amount. The whole fight was helped by the badge with the yellow hat and another with the black hat, who ran over. Beat my daughter and son, she snatched his pole, he hit her with a boxer and pulled her hair, they took photos of my daughter with that pole, they wanted to make fun of her for beating him,” Ha said.
