TOFAŞ, Bursaspor and Aliağa Petkim clubs from Turkey participated in the draw ceremony held in Munich, Germany.
TOFAŞ will face AEK Petrolina (Greek Government of South Cyprus), Loew Braunschweig (Germany) and the loser of the Champions League qualifiers between Trepka (Kosovo) and Krafnos (Greek Government of South Cyprus) in Group A.
Bursaspor will be drawn in Group B of the European Cup qualifiers with Casa de Monte Zaragoza (Spain), who lost in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, Anorthosis Famagusta (Greek authorities in South Cyprus) and the FIBA tournament champions visiting Malta Starlight Naxxa (Malta).
Izmir team Aliağa Petkim will be drawn in Group D with Anwil Wloclawek (Poland), Dinamo Banco di Sardegna (Italy) and the winner of the FIBA EuroBasket qualifiers Sporting FC Portugal-Spirou Basket (Belgium).
In the regular season, 40 teams will participate in 10 groups of cup matches, and the 10 teams that top the groups will advance to the second round.
The six teams that finish second in their groups will also advance to the second round.
The qualifiers will be held from September 24 to 27, and the regular season group stage will be held from October 9 to November 13.
