Former President Donald Trump has challenged President Biden to another presidential debate — this time with fewer rules and no moderator — in which Biden can prove his “ability, or lack thereof.”
A week after Biden’s first defeat, the 78-year-old Republican presidential candidate called for a “no-limits” debate in an article published on Truth Social on Thursday afternoon.
“I know the answer to the mystery of Joe Biden’s incompetence – let’s have another debate, but this time, with no limits. It’s a full discussion, with just the two of us on stage, talking about the future of our Country,” Trump said in the post.
Trump said the ratings for the proposed debate will “exceed expectations” as the new format even outperformed the first debate hosted by CNN. 47.9 million audience.
The proposed new rules will be a bone of contention between the two political rivals and represent a significant change from the rules they agreed on a week ago during a meeting co-hosted by CNN anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.

“Let Joe explain why he wants open borders, millions of people and many violent criminals from unknown parts pouring into our once great country, or why he wants men involved in women’s sports,” Trump said.
“Or the requirement to have all-electric cars in five years, or why he’s allowed inflation to run rampant and destroy the people of our country, and so on.
“It will also be a testament to his ‘competence,’ or lack thereof, under tremendous pressure,” Trump claimed, mocking growing calls for Biden to drop out of the race after his poor performance in the first debate.
