The driver of a lorry has been charged with dangerous driving after a crash this morning near Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara seriously disrupted the smooth flow of traffic on the Rupert Craig Highway.
The accident caused the truck to hit a utility pole and blocked the road (south lane).
The driver is due to appear in court tomorrow and is expected to face other charges, such as damaging public property.
