Transgaz attracts €7 million from the Ministry of Energy for gas supply to Mintia power plant

The project “Mintiya Power Plant Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline” supported by the Ministry of Energy was announced as a major national project in the field of natural gas by the Ministry of Land and Resources. 129/2023. Transgaz submitted 12 projects for the expansion and modernization of natural gas transportation infrastructure through the Ministry of Energy, of which 4 projects have been approved for funding from the Modernization Fund.

In the first three months of this year, Transgaz’s consolidated operating revenue was RON 706 million, up 53% from the first quarter of 2023, and its net profit was RON 262 million, almost double that of the same period last year.

TGN shares have risen 17.4 percent this year, giving it a market value of 4.2 billion lei.
