Environment Canada is warning drivers that snow is possible at mountain passes on several major highways in British Columbia’s Interior.
The agency said a weather system will bring a cool front to British Columbia’s interior on Saturday and Sunday that could combine with heavy precipitation to produce snow in mountain passes.
Up to 5 centimetres of snow is expected on parts of the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Kamloops, the Okanagan Connector from Merritt to Kelowna, Allison Pass on Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton, and sections of Kootenay and Rogers Pass.
