Trade between Kyrgyzstan and Egypt falls 17% in five months

AKIPRESS website – According to the State Statistics Committee, bilateral trade between Kyrgyzstan and Egypt fell by 17% in the first five months of 2024.

Bilateral trade volume reached US$2.4 million, down 17% from US$2.9 million in the same period last year.

Kyrgyzstan mainly exports oil, animal by-products, and aircraft and their spare parts to Egypt.

Kyrgyzstan imports medicines, fresh fruit and clothing from Egypt.
