Tourists have sparked controversy by filming themselves running through a UNESCO World Heritage site in Cambodia as part of a trend of “real-life temple runs”.
Videos of people running and jumping around Cambodia’s iconic archaeological site Angkor Wat have been viewed millions of times on social media.
Angkor preserves the remains of different capitals of the Khmer Empire over the centuries, including the famous Angkor Wat temple complex, which tourists flock to see and film videos recreating popular mobile games.
