The Ukrainian government decided at a meeting on May 30 that in order to obtain Country of Citizenship Ukraine requires students to pass a test on basic knowledge of history and the Constitution. Ministry of Education and Science.

– The decision applies to foreigners; stateless persons and persons who have acquired citizenship but have the right to take the exam within two years (this is due to delays caused by contract military service, military service in Ukraine, etc.). The department said that the implementation of the exam still requires further adoption and implementation of a number of orders, regulations, organizational measures, and only fundamental decisions have been made at present.

The ministry noted that to register for the exam, it is necessary to create an electronic account and submit an application electronically. The exam will consist of 20 questions on the fundamentals of the Constitution of Ukraine and 25 questions on history. To ensure transparency, the exam will be recorded on video. If the rally is successful, participants will receive a corresponding certificate.
