After the announcement South African singer Sho Madjozi will be the regional headliner for the 2024 Lake of Stars Music Festival. The organizers will also invite the “Tshwala Bam” Tiktok duo TitoM and Yuppe to “ignite” the festival scheduled for June 6day to 8day September Fish Eagle Bay Lodge in Nkhotakota District.
Part of the organizers’ statement reads: “Thato Mathobela, also known as TitoM, and Bongani Sibanyoni, also known as Yuppe, the talented duo behind the famous Tiktok dance challenge ‘Tshwala Bam’ that went global, will ignite the global stage of the Malawi Lake of Stars Arts Festival on the stunning shores of Sani Beach at Osprey Bay Lodge in Nkota, Malawi.”
The duo will perform alongside Sho Madjozi and a host of local and international artistes including Malawi’s Zeze Kingston, Emmie Deboo, Chmba, Temwah, Zambia’s Mumba Yachi and Zimbabwe’s Lindsay Chamangurangura.
