televisionVector Control will be carrying out mosquito control work at St Philip and Christ Church from Monday to Friday.
The force will visit areas in both parishes from Monday to Wednesday.
The team will be spraying in the following neighbourhoods on Monday: Market Road, Four Square, Woodbourne, Berlin Road, Bright Hill, Lowther’s Park 1 to 3, Bright Hill, Walronds 1 to 3 and surrounding areas.
On Tuesday, the hazy conditions will be concentrated in Yorkshire Road, Parkes, Woodburn and Highlands 1 to 3 areas.
The following day, Country View Estate, Casuarina Drive, Cedar Avenue, Sweet Street, Lowther’s Hill and Fairview will be targeted.
The troop will focus on Christ Church on Thursday and Friday.
Jade Circle, Hurley Drive, Lead Vale, Mayfair Terrace, Searles and Lowlands Park will see smoke on Thursday.
This week’s fogging will end on Friday in 1 to 3 Searles, Fair View, Glade and neighbouring areas.
The spraying time is from 4:30 to 8:30 pm every day. Please open the doors and windows to let the spray into the room. Children are not allowed to play in the spray.
The public should be aware that the completion of scheduled spraying activities may be impacted by events beyond the control of the force. In such circumstances, the force will return to affected communities as quickly as possible. (Public Relations)
