A question naturally arises: what is the secret of the umbilical cord connection between the Israeli ultra-Orthodox (and its step-daughter, the ultra-Orthodox) and the conservative right? Over the years, a fascinating fusion has developed between the two most antagonistic factions in Israel? The doctrine of modern Jewish separatism: Zionism and ultra-Orthodoxy are a symbiotic relationship, and neither can exist without the latter. The constant confrontation between secular Zionism and its religious opponents has led to the chaos and prosperity of Zionism. The two have declined in certain periods, and in these times they have lived in a contradictory symbiosis. Therefore, they are today hand in hand: the ultra-Orthodox are less power-hungry, less anti-Zionist, and more of an active partner. On the chariot of the state, Zionism (whose definition is not clear at all) is less confident, less secular, and more religious and traditional, becoming economically and Zionist-unable to sustain itself. Branch – It is almost impossible to define the identity and Judaism of this country without the crutches of ultra-Orthodoxy, between the body of Zionist nationalism and the soul of religious fundamentalism, a non-religious, non-Zionist or non-Jew. He will find it difficult to find his place as an equal citizen here, and things do not end there.
The classical right has mutated. Likud was a liberal nationalist party, and waving them in front of Netanyahu’s army is a completely different right. Biblicism maintains a twisted connection with the orthodox ultra-Orthodox way of life. Together they distort a sick populism. The belief that they are the natural people, that there is nothing wrong with them, is coupled with the worship of the leader (Rabbi or politician), who in his character and actions embodies the will of the people. Anyone who opposes them is a mortal enemy. The hybridization of blind fan groups with ultra-Orthodoxy is the root of the original Israeli destructive mechanism.
Orthodoxy – literally the correct/straight view – is a view that lacks patience and tolerance for anything that rejects its hegemony or challenges its beliefs. This religious fanaticism defends itself with violent aggression against liberal and individualistic values, sanctifies the supremacy of the genetic tribe – the chosen bloodline people – over the entire human race, and never ceases to doubt Western universal values. Submission to the tyranny of rabbinic authority, fear of any possibility of change, and preferring the customs of the father’s imagination to the specific interests of our children.
