“We sowed half a hectare, without advertising, to please ourselves and our customers. Next year – it was already last year, we thought maybe we should invite more people here, so we built a swing, a bed, and last year many people came, so this year we have sown a whole hectare, we made more attractions”, say Margarita and Arunas Litvinai.

This year, the sunflower fields have been expanded with new doors, pianos, bicycles, carts, gazebos and more swings. The woodwork was made by Arunas.

By the way, the piano has its own story – a neighbor brought an old piano home, but his wife did not agree with the idea of ​​owning such a musical instrument, so the husband came to the Litvins and offered to give it to him as a gift. Decoration. Now an old, not very well tuned piano in the hands of an excellent musician plays beautiful melodies, and for the little girl it is just a fun entertainment, even if it does not sound perfect, it does not annoy visitors. .

According to his parents, Darts, the youngest member of the family, is the most serious reviewer of their activities, so if he enjoys it, the other kids will too, whether the kid is 10 or 65. old.

“Everyone loves the swings, everyone swings here, no matter how old the person is,” the couple said with a smile. – When they come, sometimes people are in the mood of “well, what will you see here”, but everyone leaves satisfied. At least 95%. If some people come and are not satisfied with everything, I don’t know if they will also like it here. People say there is a beautiful emotion here, they discover their childhood – it doesn’t matter if they are 10 or 65, but everyone swings and is still filming. “

The name “Saulučiai rojas” came about naturally. The couple said that it was easier for the children to call them “sunshine”. The objects arranged in the maze make for interesting photo opportunities, and the location was naturally determined by the earth itself – not where all the sunflowers sprout.

It’s just that sometimes the founders do not satisfy people’s desire to catch the sun, or suppress it by cleverly shortening the distance to the outside world, because this place is for sharing good mood, not destroying it. In addition, the best view here lasts about one month to three weeks, as long as the sunflowers are in bloom. Indeed, for those who like bird watching, it is worth visiting here in autumn, because the mature sunflower fields attract various birds.

The couple renews the land and buys seeds every year, as it is not easy to collect and dry seeds by hand. In addition, there are several flowers blooming outside, some earlier and some later, and most of them are yellow, but red sunflowers are blooming now.

“Here moms can take photos, and children can play. They also have picnics here, there are pavilions, so you can spend a lot of time here. People come here from Vilnius, Kaunas and Prien – they travel around Zemaitia and let us be part of it. Near Mosedice, the Renavos estate. And there are also people who come by bicycle when they go from Klaipėda to Joniškis. He travels on a motorcycle.
