In an interview with TVI aired on Sunday, Pinto da Costa revealed that his new book, which will be launched in October, contains the names of people whose funerals he does not want.
“Is Andre Villas-Boas on this list?” the former Porto president was asked, but no specific answer was given to the question.
“They are the people who have betrayed me in my life. And then there are the others. When I go to many funerals and see people with deep affection telling jokes with others, I don’t want my family and friends to feel that they are surrounded. I want them to feel the same feeling that everyone there has: friendship, longing, that I am going to a better world and that one day they will come to me”, Pinto da Costa later concluded.
“Those who don’t understand me will say I’m this or that, but my friends will say it well. They can’t say that I’ve hurt anyone in my life, at least with my knowledge and intentionally. No one will say that,” he assured.
