I am looking for any information on my grandparents, George and Elizabeth Vidas, who were married in 1905 at St. Mary’s Church in Albia, Iowa. They raised 8 children in Albia and then moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin in the late 1920s. My grandmother’s maiden name was Elizabeth Toth. She came to the United States from Croatia or Hungary around 1898. My grandfather, George Vidas, came to the United States from the “old homeland”. That is all I know. I would like to know where exactly they were from and any additional information on this family. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
