Muscat: Twelve young players are participating in a table tennis camp organised by the Oman Table Tennis Association (OTTA) at the training hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Centre, which will last until Thursday.
The camp was supervised by Faeti Keivani, the coach of the Iranian women’s national team. Participants were selected based on the results of physical and technical tests conducted during the Under-12 Table Tennis Festival.

The program includes intensive training on the basic skills of the game, such as entry techniques as well as hand and foot movements and the correct grip of the racket and ball. At the end of the camp, participants will undergo a practical test to select the best of them for the next preparatory camp.
