Praise be to God, the Creator, the All-Knowing; He created human beings from the water of dishonour and honoured them with reason and religion, whoever observes His religion is a man of honour and happiness, whoever turns away from it is lower than the animals, and his abode is the abode of Hell. We praise Him fully and thank Him with great gratitude, and I bear witness that there is no other god besides God, no partner. He encompasses everything with knowledge and calculates everything with numbers, so that nothing on earth or in heaven is hidden from Him, and I bear witness that our Prophet Muhammad is His servant, and His Messenger chose him and chose him. Grant him goodness and place him in a high position, and may the prayers and peace of God be upon him and his family and companions until the Day of Judgment.

As for what follows: fear Almighty God and obey Him, adhere to His religion, meditate on His Holy Book, obey His commands, and avoid His prohibitions. For this world is the abode of ephemerality and illusion, but the Hereafter is the abode of joy and delight. In heaven, only he wins, and life in this world is just delusional enjoyment. [آل عمران: 185].

O people: Every prophet has followers and enemies, lovers and haters, supporters and abandoners, many and few, and there are very few prophets who have neither followers nor supporters. Our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was the most faithful follower and supporter of all the prophets. Therefore, his religion will survive until the end of time, prophecies are sealed by him, and his country is the best of all countries.

Among the prophets who followed Moses, peace be upon him, but most of his people Israel abandoned him on more than one occasion, and only a few supported him, among those who supported him was Joshua ben Nun ben Abraham ben Joseph. His grandfather was the Prophet of God Joseph ben Jacob ben Ishaq ben Abraham, peace be upon them. “He was one of the greatest companions of Moses, peace be upon him, one who believed in him and believed in him, who remained with Moses until his death and he inherited his law. He was one of the greatest prophets of the descendants of Israel after Moses. He was a young man of Moses on his famous journey to Al-Khdr, and the Al-Khdr Quran mentions in the words of God Almighty: “When Moses said to his servant: ‘I will not leave until I reach the gathering of the two seas, or until I have passed a certain time. ” [الكهف: 60]His name is not mentioned in this verse, but the Prophet (may God bless him) mentioned his name when referring to the story of Moses and Khadr, in which context he said: “So Moses went out and took with him His son Joshua ben Nun, and the fish, until they reached the rocks and encamped at Ha, is the account of the two chiefs.

When the Children of Israel rejected Jihad and liberated the Holy Land from polytheism; for fear of its people; Joshua ben Nun (peace be upon him) was one of the two men who incited the Children of Israel to wage Jihad and enter the Holy Land One, as shown in the famous story from Surah Maida: Verily, you will be victorious, if you are a believer, have faith in Allah. [المائدة: 23]. But the Children of Israel abandoned the holy war and failed Moses, peace be upon him. They were punished with forty years of wandering, during which time Moses died. Joshua bin Nun took over his prophecy and leadership, and that generation of cowards mostly perished, replaced by a generation that grew up in the wilderness, and in adversity and faith, Joshua led them to conquer Jerusalem, so God Almighty gave victory. “They and the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace”, reported this; As narrated in the hadith of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “One of the prophets fought a battle and he said to his Prophet: People: A man without power will not follow me, he wants to build with it, but he does not build with it, no one builds a house without raising the roof, and no one buys sheep or offspring. Waiting for them to give birth, so he invaded and approached the village for afternoon prayers, or approached, so he said to the sun: God commands you, do not let us do this. Until God gives him victory, so he collected the spoils, and it came- meaning: fire- came to eat it, but you did not feed it: indeed, there is a deceiver among you, so let one go. Each tribe swore allegiance to me, then one man’s hand was placed on his hand, and he said: There is a deceiver among you, so let him swear allegiance to me, I mean your tribe, then the hands of two or three men touched his hands. He said: You have been deceived, so they brought a gold like a bull’s head, and they put it down, and then the fire came and burned it, and then God made our booty legal, and he saw our weakness. And incompetence, so he made them legal for us. ”

In another hadith it is recorded that a miracle happened to the Prophet, who blocked the sun until Allah Almighty conquered them and named the Prophet Joshua bin Nun, May he rest in peace. As stated in the hadith of Abu Hurairah, “May Allah be pleased with him”, he said: “O Messenger of Allah, may Allah pray for him and grant peace”, he said, “Besides Joshua, the sun It didn’t happen to anyone,” Ahmed narrated. “He walked to the temple every night.”

In the words of Joshua, peace be upon his people, as he prepares for the invasion and conquest of Jerusalem: “A man who has as little as a woman will not follow me, and he wants to build with it, but he does not build a house with it, nor does he build a house, nor does he put up a roof, nor does he buy sheep or offspring while waiting for childbirth, proving that the worldly pleasures of wife and children, home, and money often distract the obedience of a servant and prevent him from making holy wars for the sake of God Almighty. Mercy for his widows, his children who are orphans, and love for the world and its prosperity. Therefore, he prevented Joshua from following him from the heart, clinging to something of this world, God Almighty said: “Know that your wealth and your children are only a test, but with God they are a great reward. ” [الأنفال: 28]It is mentioned in the hadith of Ali al-Amiri, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: “Hasan and Husayn ran to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he joined them.” Aha Madh and Ibn Majah narrated: “This son is timid.”

In this Hadith, it is forbidden to take spoils from previous countries, while it is permitted for the country of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and it is one of the characteristics of this country, “and the beginning of it all began with the war of Muhammad”. Badr, in which the words of the Almighty are revealed: “So eat the lawful good that you have destroyed, and fear God, for God is indeed Forgiving, Merciful.” [الأنفال: 69]Therefore, God made it lawful for them to obtain the spoils of war.

In this hadith, a virtuous person may not fail to achieve his good goal because his people abandon him, whereas a virtuous person will achieve it if his people support him. This is because Moses (peace be upon him) was better than Joshua bin Nun. However, the Temple was not conquered by him because his companions abandoned him, but it was opened for Joshua bin Nun because his companions supported him. Therefore, we know the virtues of the Sahabi, may Allah be pleased with them, and also know their support for the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when they invaded him and redeemed him with their lives, their children and their money. As Miqdad said on the day of Badr: “O Messenger of God, we will not say to you as the Children of Israel said to Moses: ‘Go, you and your Lord, go and fight.'” They sat here [المائدة: 24]”But go ahead, we’ll be with you,” he said.

We ask the Almighty God to teach us what is good for us and enable us to do what He teaches, and He is the Hearer and the Answerer.

I say this to ask Allah to forgive me and you…

Praise be to Allah, a very good and blessed praise, as beloved and satisfied by our Lord, I bear witness that there is no god besides Allah, no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, may the Messenger of Allah be blessed. Prayers and peace be upon him, his family, companions and all those who are guided by them until the Day of Judgment.

As for what follows: So fear God and obey Him “and fear the fire prepared for the disbelievers, and obey God and his messenger, that you may receive mercy.” [آل عمران: 131- 132].

O Muslims: The destination of the battle of Joshua ben Nun and the believers who followed him was Jerusalem. To free him from polytheism and polytheists, this invasion was a continuation of the mission of Moses, peace be upon him, when his people did not respond to him and said: “Indeed, there are tyrannical people there, and we will not enter it” until they leave it, but if they leave it, then let us leave it alone. [المائدة: 22]They said, “O Moses, we will never enter it as long as they remain in it, so go and fight with your Lord while we sit here.” [المائدة: 24].

When the Qur’an mentions this story, the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) continues to talk about this story in his fragrant biography; We know that the religion of the Prophets is one, their mission is one, and some of them are guardians of each other, even though their times are far apart, their homes are far apart, their nations are different, their religion is the pure monotheism of God Almighty, and the Temple of God should not be desecrated by polytheists, but should be expelled from the Temple, and their guardianship over it is invalid.

This hadith also shows the importance of Beit Maqdis in Islam, otherwise the story of Moses (peace be upon him) trying to conquer it would not be mentioned in the Quran. The conquest of Joshua, peace be upon him, is mentioned in the Sunnah of Islam. This concern of Beit Maqdis is also shown by the events of the night journey and the ascension. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) was taken on a journey from Mecca to Jerusalem, he was taken to heaven from there, but he was not taken away from Mecca or its sanctuary, and then he led all the prophets. The prophets prayed in Jerusalem, and one of the surahs in the Quran is named after this great event that begins with the words of Allah Almighty: “Glory be to Him.” He took his servant from the Sacred Mosque to the Al-Aqsa Mosque at night, and We bless his surroundings and show him Our signs. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. [الإسراء: 1].

Muslims have more right to the Land of Blessing and its Sacred Mosque than any other nation. Therefore, the Companions, may God be pleased with them, go and open it and liberate it from the polytheism of the Christians, while Muslims deserve it more than the Jews who inhabit it, and they will liberate it from abominations and polytheism, God Almighty willing. It is not difficult for God to return to the Muslims after he left them for decades.

Pray and greet your Prophet…
