These were the minimum amounts paid to Kirants residents, larger amounts were used to buy houses and land. One of the residents of Kirants (I did not write his name to avoid trouble for myself) was offered 270 million drams, but he refused; the village residents said that the man was then invited to Yerevan to attend an investigative committee, where the stubborn man was told that he and his son had resisted the police and that they could open a criminal case, but Kirants refused 270 million drams.
