Starting this morning, representatives of the Islamic Council held discussions on the policies and general principles of the 14th Government Program, which was postponed to the evening session.
After five delegates spoke for and against during the evening session, it was time to defend President Massoud Mezikian in the proposed cabinet.
First, he complained about some criticisms from delegates by reciting a poem, then he defended the government’s plans and the cabinet proposed to the Islamic Council.

The doctors’ words were encouraged by representatives of the Islamic Council.
Then Islamic Council Speaker Qalibaf asked the delegates to send their blessings; the President’s doctor once again continued his speech, without naming each of the 19 proposed ministers, but defending them in general, and even asked the delegates to consider the proposed ministers as their friends and vote for them and those who give more help.
At this point, the doctors’ brief talk ended and the representatives encouraged him again.
