This passage connects Avinguda Joan Martí to Parc de l’Ossa and was built in 1997.
Comú d’Encamp has granted 110,048 euros for the restoration of the Mora footbridge. The deadline within which the company must carry out the work is eight weeks, or two months, since the award was published this Wednesday in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Andorra (BOPA).
Last May, the commune held a competition to award the improvement of this passage that connects Joan Martí Avenue with the current Osa Park, in the area of the cool pools. This bridge was built by Comú d’Encamp in 1997 and it has suffered over time. The work is therefore expected to be for the complete replacement of the entire walkway and the corresponding maintenance of the railings of the walkway and access area that have rust, as well as the furnishing of some parts of the roof of the access area, the replacement of damaged and obsolete lamps, the cleaning of the walls, etc.
It is worth noting that the commune recently allocated 131,081 euros to repair the Carrer de la Molina bridge, which crosses the Valira d’Orient River and connects the Prat Gran area to the new Ossa Park, after damage was found to the upper part of the bridge, the lower part of the viaduct and the culvert.
