A busy ramp connecting two highways in Mississauga has been closed due to flooding.
The ramp from the eastbound lanes of Highway 403 to the northbound lanes of Highway 410 is currently closed for maintenance, Ontario Provincial Police said in a post on Monday.
It’s unclear how long the closure will last.
The situation came after heavy rains continued in the area over the previous weekend, flooding roads and highways.
Five vehicles were trapped in floodwaters and people needed rescue after the 410 Freeway (near the 401 Freeway) flooded.
No injuries were reported, but officials said drivers in the area may experience some delays.
