Her Majesty participated in this competition with Vayu team, boat number THA27, acting as strategist, responsible for observing the wind direction. Make plans before the wind blows to your boat. Allow team members to move positions so that the boat can be weighed in time according to the wind direction. The goal of each boat is to return as quickly as possible. It is important to keep a distance between each boat. To prevent accidents and guide the boats to return quickly and safely to the designated buoy.

The first day of competition started with 13 sailing teams from 9 countries, and the teams had a fierce competition from the starting line to the finish line. Each boat passed each other within 1 meter, and the race committee and the referee (Umpire) watched the race closely. Follow the rules to regulate the race and prevent collisions between boats because the TP 52 is a high-performance, high-speed Grand Prix boat. Therefore, all racers must pay attention to their own safety at all times.

Then at 2:16 pm, the Wayou Sailing Team reached the finish line of the first race, and started the second race at 2:45 pm, and reached the finish line at 3:44 pm, which included the results of the Wayou team’s two races today. It ranked 5th among 13 teams.

The sailing competition “Puerto Portals 52 Super Series Sailing Week” TP 52 Super Series 2024 will start from August 28th to September 1st, with 2 races per day until the end of 5 days, a total of 10 races. The results of all 10 races will be combined to find the winning team of the 4th race.
