Romanija Sokolac Director of the Forestry Department, Strahinja Bašević, is on the run and is being sought.

According to the same media, in addition to Gojković, there are Mladen Lakić, acting director of ŠG Sjemeć Rogatica, Janko Golijanin, former acting director of ŠG Visočnik Han Pijesak, and L. Č., as acting director of ŠG Panos Višegrad.
Basevic, by the way, is a deputy of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska and in the upcoming elections he is a candidate for the presidency of the Sokoc Party of Girls Socialists, whose chairman is Milorad Dodik.
Prosecutors announced today’s operation, saying that searches were carried out in several locations in the cities of Sokolac, Hampijsa, Rogatica and Višegrad starting in the morning on the order of the East Sarajevo District Court.
“The search is part of an investigation by the East Sarajevo District Prosecutor’s Office involving the Forestry Department of Republika Srpska, the Forestry Department of Romanija Sokolac, the Forestry Department of Sjemeć Rogatica, the Forestry Department of Visočnik Han Pijesak and the Forestry of Panos Višegrad.
The suspects are accused of being active in the area of the municipalities of Sokolac, Han Pijesak, Rogatica and Višegrad during 2020, namely GS as acting director of Forests of Republika Srpska, BS as acting director of ŠG Romanija Sokolac, LM as acting director of ŠG Sjemeć Rogatica, GJ as acting director of ŠG Visočnik Han Pijesak and ČL as acting director of ŠG Panos Višegrad, using their official positions and powers, intentionally violating the Law on Public Procurement of Bosnia and Herzegovina, abusing the urgency provided for in the order, causing damage to the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska. As mentioned before, despite knowing that the municipalities of Sokolac, Višegrad, Han Pijesak and Rogatica had not yet declared a natural disaster, they took advantage of the situation of the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was announced globally by the World Health Organization.
Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, while executing the order of the East Sarajevo District Court, deprived the liberty of four persons with the initials GS, LM, GJ and Č. The East Sarajevo District Prosecutor’s Office stated that “L., while the person with the initials BS escaped from the deprivation of liberty and is being sought in an intensive manner”.
