The National Bank of Belarus has increased some values of the Standard Risk Value (RSV) calculated for August 2024.
The RVSR for new loans in local currency to legal entities (excluding concessional loans) will be 12.5% per year (11.98% in July), the regulator’s website reported.
For new local currency loans to individuals (other than concessional loans), the RVSR will be 17.71% per annum (17.22% in July).
The estimate of standard risk is an indicator of the level of lending rates above which it would be unpopular with regulators and indicates the risk policy pursued by the bank.
