The above MOU is valid for two years until a new MOU is signed. The new MOU adds measures to help workers in the event of a disaster. And shortens the time required to return to work in Korea. This year, Thailand has allocated quotas for E-9 visa workers in the manufacturing category. However, the MOU will serve as a clear framework for cooperation in sending Thai workers to work in Korea. Since recruitment, language and skills testing, travel expenses or expenses, visas and immigration, work and residence, and return trips after a specified period of work, these will help prevent illegal stay in Korea.
