The Cambodia Association of the Republic of Korea declared its full support for the special message of Prince Hun Sen and strongly condemned the actions of illegal overseas rebels who are planning to form an illegal government and inciting fabricated false information to spread all images to the public opinion in an attempt to overthrow the legitimate Royal Government of Cambodia led by Prime Minister Hun Manet.
The Khmer Aid Association of Farsom, Korea, issued a petition in full support of Prince Hun Sen’s call after illegal opposition groups in several countries instigated protests against the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Triangle Development Project. The situation in Cambodia is similar to that in Bangladesh.
Samdech Techo reminded the country’s opposition not to cross the red line and cancel plans to overthrow the legitimate government at the call of illegal rebels.
The illegal insurgents’ attempt to overthrow the legitimate elected government is the most serious violation of the Cambodian Constitution, especially against the will of the people, and is aimed at destroying the peace in Cambodia today.
The Royal Government of Cambodia will take strong action against those who want to create insecurity and disrupt peace through illegal riots to ensure that the Cambodian people live in peace, political stability and work hard to rebuild the economy.
“We strongly condemn any actions by illegal insurgents overseas, such as planning to form an illegal government and inciting acts, false information to deceive all forms of public opinion, in an attempt to overthrow the legitimate Royal Government led by Prince Mohammed,” said the statement by Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Bowarthibodi Hun Manet.
The Cambodian Intellectuals Association in Korea announced its full support for the call by Prince Hun Sen after illegal groups in several countries incited protests against the Cambodia-Laos triangle development project, which Vietnam aims to make Cambodia’s situation similar to that of Bangladesh.
“We urge the relevant authorities to take strong legal action and call on all compatriots to remain vigilant and condemn the corruption and sedition of illegal rebel groups to destabilize Cambodia,” he said. “Cambodia has made great achievements under the win-win policy of Prince Hun Sen after the war.”
The Korea-Cambodia Future Development Association stated that the illegal rebels’ attempt to overthrow the legitimate Royal Government is the most serious violation of the Cambodian Constitution. In particular, it goes against the will of the people and intends to destroy the peace that Cambodia has achieved today.
“We, the leaders of the association, would like to express our full support for the call of Prince Hun Sen to protest against the Cambodia Triangle Development Project after illegal opposition groups in some countries, Laos and Vietnam, in an effort to create unrest in Cambodia.”
