The Government has approved funding for the fifth edition of gender equality projects for non-profit companies and associations established in Andorra in 2024 for a total of 64,962.68 euros for activities, events or programs that promote equal opportunities for women and men and prevent gender-based violence.
Therefore, the Andorranes Association has provided a subsidy of €2,212.31 for the project “Women’s Information Point”, which aims to provide information, advice and coordination in the legal and labour fields to women, relatives or others who are residents of the Principality, especially those in vulnerable situations.
For its part, Aimara received €7,207.22 for its Women’s Leadership for Change initiative, which provides a space for group and individual sessions for women who wish to gain technical and leadership skills.
The Andblockchain Association received a grant of €9,504.75 for its project “Science and Technology are Women”, which consists of a day showcasing benchmarks in the STEM field – from face-to-face events, roundtables, workshops, orientation and information, as well as the viewing of the short film “Hamelin77”.
Cerqueda Recursos Humanas received €6,083.04 for the project “Lidera Inside: Leading from the Inside Out”. This is an individual and group counselling and mentoring programme for women who hold positions of command, management or responsibility, undertake projects or are in the process of career reorientation. The aim is to identify strengths and weaknesses and acquire skills and competencies.
The Andorran Bar Association has received €5,284.97 in funding for the project “Cycle of seminars and conferences on equality between men and women”, which organizes a series of conferences for wide dissemination by citizens to promote Andorran legislation on gender equality and violence.
Cooperand received a subsidy of €6,292.80 for the project “Triangular Cooperation: An Ibero-American Perspective on Gender and Mental Health”, a collaboration with Latin America, which included a workshop explaining the different aspects of mental health that widen the gender gap in the context of Ibero-American women.
The Andorran Padel Federation received 1,479.79 euros for projects that provide space for women’s padel, such as technical days or women’s championships.
2 Forest Park received €2,949.75 for the project “Reconnecting Families”. This is a space for female victims of gender-based violence and their immediate family members, which aims to improve communication, connection and identification of emotions through interrelated emotional education workshops.
With Nature
Projecte Vida has received €4,093.87 in funding and focuses on providing therapeutic groups for women who have experienced gender-based violence and developed substance addiction and/or impulse control.
Socrepro received a subsidy of €3,084.13 for the project “Coaching for Change: A Path to Balance and Well-Being”, which provides online and face-to-face group and individual coaching to provide effective tools to overcome challenges, learn strategies to better manage emotional and physical health.
Ticand has received €6,312.03 in funding for the project “We are CyberGirls”, which proposes to organize workshops and lectures for girls and families, aiming to attract female talent to the world of cybersecurity.
Unió Ràdio del Pirineu received a prize of 1,748 euros for “Women’s Voices”. This initiative consists of preparing a series of intimate and personal interviews with women of all ages and professions throughout the country, with the aim of providing known references in different sectors.
Finally, Victus received a grant of €3,706.85 for the project “Minerva Talks”, which proposes several activities; such as an annual event to encourage female entrepreneurship, a podcast dedicated to talking about female entrepreneurship, and the writing and publication of books promoting female entrepreneurship.
