The robbery took place on July 30 at the Karl Johans gate. The boy whose sunglasses were stolen was a participant in the Norway Cup.
Now it turns out that the two 17-year-olds accused of causing serious bodily harm to the two men in Borgen and Moy in Tjofholman were also suspects in the teenage robbery.
This is what the Oslo police wrote in a press release.
Thomas Øiseth, one of the defense attorneys for one of the defendants, told NRK they had no comment on the case.
On Saturday, the two 17-year-olds were jailed for five and seven days for attacking the man in Tjuvholmen.
Of the two men attacked, one suffered stab wounds and the other suffered other bodily injuries.
The injuries are not life-threatening.
The main assumption of the police is that the attack was due to the victim’s sexual orientation.
According to the custody order, the two 17-year-olds were being investigated for a number of robberies and acts of violence that had taken place in recent months.
