The D1 motorway from Trnava to Bratislava is closed until lunch

Police are warning drivers planning to use the stretch of road to allow plenty of time to exit.

The D1 highway section from 27. to 12.5. km from Trnava to Bratislava will be completely closed by 12:00. At least one lane will then be opened in the direction of Bratislava. The partial closure will end at the latest at 8 pm on Sunday (July 28). The Bratislava Regional Police informed about this on social networks.

“During the complete closure of the D1 motorway, the detour route will be via the Senec exit and then along route II/503 – Senec – I/61 – Veľký Biel – Bernolákovo – Bratislava,” police explained.

It warned drivers planning to travel through the stretch to allow plenty of time to exit.

“At the same time, we also remind everyone to be patient, careful and pay attention when driving through the above-mentioned sections to avoid traffic jams and delays. It is recommended that road users carry enough liquids.” added.
