August 26, Moscow / Eduard Pivovar – BELTA /. The civic-patriotic change of classes of Union State students “For the Honor of the Motherland” will be held from September 6 to 26 at the State Center for Child Education and Health “Zubrenok”. BELTA learned about this from the Union State Standing Committee.
The event is planned to attract more than 500 students, including 14-16 years old students from military-patriotic classes of specialized cadet educational institutions and general secondary educational institutions of Belarus and Russia.
The content of this shift change includes the introduction of the delegation, formation and song review competition, military sports relay race “Hurricane” with a total of 17 stages, military sports competitions such as air rifle shooting, military experts competition, military history, and military patriotic songs.
A wide cultural and educational program is offered to the participants of the event, who will visit the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, the Khatyn Memorial House and the Brest Hero Fortress Memorial House.
A ceremony dedicated to the cadets’ shift will be held on September 9, and a theme day dedicated to the Union State will be held on September 18. The end-of-shift ceremony and the presentation of awards to the shift winners and award winners will be held on September 25. -0-
