Two days after detainee Vishal Shibchurn swore an affidavit of condemnation, Opposition Leader Arvin Boolell focused his Private Notice Question (PNQ) on the Kisterning incident in Parliament this afternoon.
The case led to the resignation of former minister Yogida Sominadhan but remains unresolved.
The opposition leader wants to know if and when the prime minister questioned or arrested suspects during the police investigation. He also wants to know where the investigation is into the “secret way” the autopsy was conducted and the return to the famous images of the safe city video surveillance cameras.
