Report Mel ReporterAbdul Rasul Pour Abbas told reporters during his visit to Iran University of Science and Technology during the second round of college entrance examinations in 1403: The entrance examination of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution has been implemented for two years. It was approved by the parliament last year, and it was not until 1406 that it returned to the previous procedure. The issue was submitted to the Guardian Council.
He added: “The Guardian Council rejected the resolution of the Parliament and usually the resolution rejected by the Guardian Council must be corrected or passed by the Parliament. If the Parliament insists, the matter should be referred to the Facilitation Committee.”
“In this case, the Convenience Committee did not consider the resolution to be convenient,” said Pour Abbas. Therefore, the approval of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution was in place and the work continued.
He talked about the university’s enrollment capacity for the 1403 college entrance examination and said: We have about 125,000 candidates in the Department of Mathematics and Technical Sciences, and last year’s enrollment capacity exceeded 200,000. For this group, if all candidates choose a field, there will be one seat, and the competition for seats will be better.
The head of the National Assessment Organization said: There are about 270,000 volunteers in the humanities sector, and the capacity is the same. Of course, fields such as law and psychology are the most competitive in this group.
He mentioned the security situation of the national exams: Last night, FATA police announced the arrest of 114 people for cheating and selling cheating devices. We had a calm night with no reports of any particular problems.
Regarding the hot weather conditions and the possibility of power outages, Pur Abbas said: As per annual practice, we have worked with the Ministry of Energy to ensure that there will be no power outages in the examination area.
He introduced the situation of collection of admission tickets for the 1403 college entrance examination: as of now, 920,000 out of 984,000 candidates have received their admission tickets.
