The activities of the Al-Awda International Film Festival, which began with the victory of Palestine, are led by director Saud Muhanna, festival director Youssef Khattab and West Bank Film Festival coordinator Dr. Alaa Ayyash. Under special circumstances, tents will be set up on August 1 in Australia, Cairo, Morocco, Gaza and other places to host the festival.
The festival, which is organized by the Palestinian Film Forum in cooperation with the Human Development Association, is dedicated to screening films that only talk about the Palestinian issue. The festival will be opened with the film “Sultana” directed by Jordanian director Haitham Abdullah, starring Jordanian artist Juliette Awad, artist Anwar Khalil and a group of Jordanian actors.
Australia, Cairo, Morocco, Gaza and Tulkarm will open simultaneously on August 1, 2024 at 6 pm.
