The Dchira International Short Film Festival is preparing to blow out its fifth candle with the motto: “Cinema is a bridge of communication and cultural exchange.” The fifth edition of the Dchira International Short Film Festival will take place on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2024 at the Sahara Cinema in Agadir, Morocco, organized by the Ayouz Association for Culture, Arts and Development, with the support of the Moroccan Cinema Center, in partnership with the Souss-Massa Region and the Souss Cultural Development Center, and in collaboration with Yuza Media Art Productions.
The fifth session aims to celebrate the seventh edition of Cinema Image Art and Culture in order to make cinema a bridge of communication and cultural exchange between the various cinematic, artistic, cultural and literary genres of the several Arab and international countries participating in this conference.

– Feature film “Crossroads”, directed by Angela Murad from Lebanon
– Code Red, a feature film directed by Rachida Chabani of Belgium The Festival’s jury is composed of Swedish director Nour Al-Qaisi, who serves as its president, Moroccan actress Zahia Al-Zahiri, French artist Ghania Rami and Iraqi director Iman Fares. The course will honor several outstanding figures in the fields of film, art and media: Moroccan actor Hisham Baroul, Moroccan actress Hasnah Netter, Moroccan actor Mustafa Saghir, French director Younes Boudaoud, Moroccan journalist and jurist Hafid Benkamel. It includes the organization of acting and photography training courses, masterclasses and real-life knowledge seminars on film as a bridge of communication and cultural exchange.
