Kimani Kyori Straker, 16, of Martins Road, Pinetown, St Michael, was remanded to Dodds Prison when he appeared in court today.
He is accused of murdering Takori Wilkinson, 17, of Princess Royal Drive in Pinehurst.
Wilkinson was shot between 9.15pm and 9.30pm on August 13. He spent the following week on life support at Queen Elizabeth Hospital before succumbing to his injuries last Tuesday.
Strecker appeared before Magistrate Judge Allison Burke in District A Traffic Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody pending trial, to appear in court again on Sept. 19. (PR/SAT)
