Kuwait City, August 10: The General Directorate of Traffic reported that last week’s operation resulted in the arrest of 66 minors who were arrested for driving family vehicles without a driver’s license. These individuals were referred to the Juvenile Prosecution Office. In addition, another 66 offenders were detained and referred to the traffic department for serious crimes.
The traffic enforcement department said in a separate statement that rescue police arrested 26 drug and alcohol drivers between July 28 and August 3. The criminals were handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau. During the period, the authorities also arrested 195 wanted criminals and issued 11,826 traffic violation tickets.
