Taiwan Silk Trade and Culture Exhibition held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations

The Embassy of the Republic of China in Palau, in partnership with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), announced that the 2024 Taiwan-Palau Trade and Culture Fair will be held from August 19 to 21, 2024 at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center.

30 Taiwanese businesses and 7 Palauan suppliers, as well as 22 well-known Taiwanese artists and 8 outstanding Palauan artists will showcase their products and works, strengthening cultural and economic ties between the two countries. Special Taiwanese food tasting events will be held at 10am and 3pm on the first two days, with live demonstrations by two well-known chefs from Taiwan. The event aims not only to strengthen business-to-business interactions, but also to promote tourism in Palau by introducing new cultural attractions for locals and tourists.

At this year’s trade show, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy high-quality, affordable products from major Taiwanese companies. From basic automotive parts, accessories, diving and underwater photography equipment, artificial intelligence crime prevention systems, kitchenware, luxury hair care products, to delicious food and beverages, unique stationery, ceramics and original designs that embody Taiwan’s innovative spirit, visitors will have the opportunity to experience Taiwan Excellence Award-winning products produced by world-renowned Taiwanese brands.
