Paris: South Korea’s Kim Yo-jin on Thursday won the Olympic gold in the women’s taekwondo featherweight (under 57kg) category, defeating Iran’s Nahid Kiyanichand, who won the silver medal.
Kim defeated Kiani Chand 5-1 9-0 in two rounds.
Alizadeh Kimia of Bulgaria and Skylar Park of Canada won bronze medals.
