Kuwait City, August 20: The Ministry of Interior security forces are on high alert after receiving reports of a suspicious package. According to security sources, the alert was triggered by a call from the Kuwait Municipality stating that a package was found on the pavement near a complex of buildings near the ministry building. The Ministry of Interior bomb disposal team was immediately notified and confirmed that there were no explosives or hazardous materials in the package. The package was subsequently handed over to the relevant police station to identify and locate its owner.
