Guyana’s much-anticipated drag racing event, Drag Wars 3.0, takes place today. Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago and Suriname will compete against each other to see who has the fastest car in the different classes.
Damon Zijlstra from Guyana told Waterkant.Net that Suriname will have more than 15 cars participating in the event. The Surinamese will compete in Class 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.
Team Global, Team Kleine, Team Venom, Team Bhai, Team Autospeed, M Speed, VIP Parts and Maintenance and a few others will return home with top prizes.
According to Zijlstra, Saturday’s test exceeded expectations. According to him, the event was expected to be a fireworks display.
