Sun International returns to Botswana

Sun International, a well-known gaming, hospitality and entertainment group, is set to return to Botswana after acquiring 100% of the shares and shareholders’ debt of Peermont Holdings (Pty) Ltd.

The Competition and Consumer Authority (CCA) recently confirmed its conditional approval of the transaction, a decision made under section 53 of the Competition Act 2018.
