The Rapid Support militia continued to shed the blood of the Sudanese people and carried out a horrific massacre in the island village of Wadnura.
A new massacre was added to the daily massacres carried out by the Rapid Support Militia against the Sudanese people since 2003. Yesterday, Wednesday, May 5, 2024, the militia invaded the village of Wadnura, in the state of Jazira. And committed one of the most heinous crimes there, it fired heavy weapons, artillery, attacked this village with a population of no more than a few hundred people, killed most of the inhabitants of the village, killed or wounded them, looted all the property. And the property of the residents, and committed various types of human rights violations, all this under the guise of seeking democracy and a state where good governance is questionable, because she hid in a village without a police station. .
The barbaric “Rapid Support” militia continues to commit crimes of murder, looting, robbery, rape and forced displacement of the Sudanese people throughout Sudan without accountability. In one month, it has killed hundreds of innocent civilians, injured thousands, destroyed health facilities and tried to cut off the water supply to the city by deliberately closing the main pipeline that supplies water to the city from the “Golo” reservoir. It has besieged it from all sides, preventing food and medical supplies from arriving, while continuing to kill and torture its citizens. This is how this terrorist militia operates in cities and villages in Darfur, Kordofan, Ar-Jazira and Khartoum since April 15, 2023.
The Rapid Support Militia, with its crimes and violations, has taken off its own masks, exposed the falsity of its false claims and slogans, and revealed the truth to the Sudanese people: they are nothing but specialized in killing, looting, plundering and wasting human dignity, and seek to destroy Sudan and plunder the displacement of its people, which has nothing to do with civilization, democracy and good governance.
The crimes against humanity, war crimes, genocide and serious violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law committed by the Rapid Support Militia require the international community to condemn and deter and hold it and its sponsors accountable, label it a terrorist organization, and refer it to the International Criminal Court for trial for its crimes.
