A teenage boy and a girl were knocked down by a 71-year-old motorcyclist at a pedestrian crossing in Skářísko-Kamena (Świętokrzyskie Province), the regional police headquarters reported. Both were taken to hospital, the boy in serious condition.
The accident took place on Saturday evening at around 8 pm on Piłsudskiego Boulevard in Skářská Kamiená (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship).
– Our preliminary findings show that a 71-year-old motorcyclist, driving from the side of State Road 7 in the middle lane, hit two teenagers at the pedestrian crossing – said Jarosław Gwóźdź, deputy chief of the Skaržko Regional Police Headquarters – Kamienna.
The 17-year-old man was taken away by air ambulance in a serious condition. The 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital by ambulance. The motorcyclist was conscious.
