SJM Holdings plans to transform the Jinbi Community Center into a food and cultural hotspot on Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, with completion expected between mid-December 2024 and the end of January 2025. SJM Holdings announced the news in a press release cover go through Local media yesterday.
During the event, SJM president Pantisa Ho shared details of the renovation of the building, which will be renamed Kam Pak Market. She noted that the ground and first floors will be able to accommodate 270 diners.
Initially, 10 food stalls will operate at the facility, which will be selected through a bidding process that will begin this Friday and last until September 6. SJM said its evaluation criteria will focus on factors such as years of experience and operating strategies. Stall operators will be charged a modest rental and promotion fee equivalent to 10% of their revenue.

Details about the second floor, which will be designated as retail space, are expected to be announced in the next phase. Meanwhile, the rooftop space will be available for public use. SJM said the renovation will preserve the building’s architectural heritage.
